S1:E19 – REGINA, FREEDWOMAN

Regina, Freedwoman: a Celtic woman. Her husband, Barates, an Arab man from Palmyra. Despite their disparate origins and backgrounds, they found each other and lived together in a Roman city in northern Britain.

We may not know much about them, but what we do know is a poster child for the prevailing power of love against a hell of a lot of odds. Sometimes, we can have nice things. :)
